The United Church Home Society, Inc. began in 1877 and is the second oldest non-profit provider of housing and health care in Western New York. The Society is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and the parent corporation of a number of related organizations governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

    The United Church Manor
  The United Church Manor provides subsidized housing to seniors aged 62 + with low incomes, and mobility-impaired individuals age 18 and older. A Service Coordinator is on-site to assist residents, helping them to achieve their goals, remain in their homes, and maintain their independence. The Manor is also a designated site for the Erie County Nutrition Program. The “Staying Fit” Nutrition Program serves a nutritious, well balanced meal Monday through Friday for seniors throughout the community. View
     
    The United Church Home
  The United Church Home offers a Parish Nurse Ministry program. This specialty area of nursing focuses on health and wellness concerns where the focus is the faith community and its ministry. Parish nurses are licensed RN’s who work in concert with pastoral care teams in concert with congregations to make home, hospital or long-term care facility visits. They counsel on health issues, provide health screenings and educational information and help parishioners understand their medications and medical conditions. They can also help assist in obtaining needed health services, develop support groups and integrate faith and health issues. View
     
    Plymouth Crossroads
  The mission of the United Church Home is expanding to provide services to young people between the ages of sixteen and twenty-one who are in need of safe housing and emotional, educational, and financial support. Plymouth Crossroads provides transitional living services designed to aid homeless youth coming out of emergency shelters a place to make a smooth transition into stable living situations. Clients learn positive attitudes and behaviors, placing value on responsible stable living environments and helping lead them to educational and employment opportunities and out of desperation and homelessness.
